Growing up in a small community in rural Jamaica, I always had a deep love for science, which led me to study pharmacology at university. But cooking was my true passion—a love I carried with me through every stage of life.
After graduating, I faced challenges finding jobs in Jamaica, and in 2019, I made the life-changing decision to migrate. Around the same time, COVID-19 hit, and that’s when I turned my passion for cooking into a side hustle. I had always cooked at Jamaican parties with friends, but it was never about business—it was about sharing joy through food.
During the pandemic, what started as a one-day-a-week venture quickly grew to two days, and eventually, I transitioned to running an indoor food truck in the Dells. Through hard work and determination, I saved enough to take the next big step: starting something new with my business partner, Xavier.
Today, we are proud to bring the vibrant flavors of Jamaica to your plate. From authentic jerk chicken and savory patties to refreshing tropical drinks and sweet island desserts, every dish is prepared with love, using traditional recipes and the freshest ingredients. Our goal is to create an experience that feels like a true taste of the Caribbean—right here in your community.
